Waived Fees During Weekend-Long 'Home for the Pawlidays' Adoption Event
December 20, 2024
Tallahassee Animal Services is giving the gift of waived adoption fees, offering those looking to add a furry family member an opportunity to do so. This weekend, the shelter invites you to find your free, festive fur-baby at the Home for the Pawlidays Adoption event on Dec. 21-22.
Beginning Saturday, Dec. 21, adoption fees will be waived through the weekend to help reduce the number of pets at the shelter during the holiday season. The Animal Service Center will be open for walk-ins from 1-5 p.m. each day, and adoptable pets can also be viewed on the online kennel, which is updated hourly with new arrivals.
As a special gift, the first 20 dog and 20 cat adoptions will receive a goodie bag, filled with stocking-stuffers for your new pet, generously provided by the Animal Shelter Foundation.
Space is currently limited at the Animal Service Center due to major 'pup-grades' to improve the quality of life for pets, boost operational efficiency and enhance the adoption experience - making it more important than ever to find homes for pets. Renovations will bring much-needed improvements, including a new Dog Adoption Wing, Veterinary Suite, Sunshine Yard and more.
Give the gift of home this pawliday season to a shelter pet at the Animal Service Center, located at 1125 Easterwood Drive. For more details about Tallahassee Animal Services and to view adoptable pets, visit Talgov.com/Animals.
